Administrator guide

How to use the Admin Control Center

Use this guide as a safe starting point for catalog changes, analytics review, site presentation, and account administration.

Song Inventory

  1. Open the Collections accordion to create, edit, or import a collection.
  2. Choosing an existing collection automatically applies it to the Songs: Search and Refine filters.
  3. Combine collection, keyword, status, band, style, mood, tempo, and featured filters to narrow the All Songs table.
  4. Select checkboxes for bulk updates, or click one row to open its detailed editor in the Song Editing accordion.

Important: “Add or update only” preserves records omitted from the file. Synchronize mode can remove collection relationships that are not present in the import, so use it only with a complete source file.

Collections, bands, and payments

  • Create or edit collection details, access level, schedule, cover, and publishing status from Song Inventory.
  • Use the separate Band Profiles page for member-facing names, biographies, instruments, styles, and status.
  • Use Payment Links to manage supporter providers and subscription-ready options.
  • After publishing, verify the public Playlists, Bands, band profile, and song presentation—not only the admin record.

Listening Analytics

  • Choose a date range and use the song filter to narrow the report.
  • Review qualified listens, listening duration, usernames, sessions, and available location data.
  • Treat anonymous or unavailable identity/location fields as expected privacy and session behavior.
  • Use analytics as directional listening evidence, not as a billing or identity ledger.

Background Videos

  • Add only optimized media that has a static poster image.
  • Preview presentation before making a video active.
  • Keep enough active options for a varied rotation without making the page heavy.
  • Mobile, reduced-motion, save-data, and slower connections may intentionally receive a static image instead.

Account Settings

  • Update your administrator profile, password, avatar, viewing options, and announcement preference.
  • Administrator access is separate from an ordinary signed-in session and is checked against the approved admin list.
  • Never share admin credentials or browser sessions. Log out on any device you do not control.

Safe publishing checklist

  • Confirm the intended record and environment.
  • Preview bulk imports before applying them.
  • Check access type and active dates.
  • Verify audio and artwork.
  • Review the public page as a guest and, when relevant, as a member or subscriber.
  • For an operational problem, record the exact page, action, time, and error before contacting technical support.

Administrator support

For admin-control or deployment issues, contact technical support. For business, licensing, privacy, press, or other non-listening questions, use general contact.
